Many game developers got their start working with ActionScript/Flash.
HAXE is an open-source, cross-platform language that functions similarly to many other object-oriented languages. The purpose of the language is to create extensible frameworks - for games - that will function across a variety of different technologies. As an homage to the era of flash games, I am thinking it'll be fun and good practice to try to make a game in the HAXE language.
I'm working on limited hardware so it has been hard developing in Unity but I am doing what I can...HAXE may be my toolkit of choice soon for simple prototyping or ideation until I can upgrade to a better laptop.
